Dancing since the young age of two, Felipa fell in love with studio life. She started with ballet, tap, and jazz, and picked up hip hop and baton twirling in high school. A life long musician, Felipa loves to combine her passion for music with movement.

When Felipa started her college years at the University of Texas, she joined the ballroom dance club, where she studied country dance and west coast swing under the wing of Sherry Reynolds. She went on to compete at the UCWDC World Championships in couples, line dance, and ProAm with Jake Greene.

Felipa joined Austin Uptown Dance as a dance instructor in 2019, and honed her teaching chops under the guidance of Bernadette Carmichael. She taught there for five years, and served the west coast swing community in Austin by teaching the level three classes and hosting practice socials.

In 2024, all the cards fell into place and Felipa won three UCWDC World Championships in one season. She became the World Champion in Mixed Role Division II, Couples Division II, and ProPro Division II.

Felipa loves to compete as a leader, a follower, and in solo dancing events. She is passionate about learning everything there is to know about dance and enjoys studying each role.

Silverada Music Video

Felipa had the amazing opportunity to perform as a dancer in two country music videos in 2024. She featured in the Randy Rogers Band “I Won’t Give Up” music video and the Silverada “Wallflower” music video.

When Felipa isn’t working on her own dancing, she is working with her students. She loves teaching competitive students, country dancing, west coast swing, social dances, and wedding dances.
